Stockholm City Poster
For this project I was tasked with creating a poster for the Swedish city of Stockholm in the style of designer Alan Kitching. Stockholm is an extremely inspiring city however i needed to communicate the essence of Stockholm through Alan Kitching's iconic wood block type posters. In the end i used the Stockholm crown, used in its own city branding around the city. I have also displayed the diverse and open culture of Stockholm through the use of colour in the poster. The poster also uses custom made type in order to recreate the distressed wood block characteristic of Alan Kitchings work.
