Later Alligator
This was done as a part of JANN (Jamaica animation nation network) facebook community group monthly challenge. The software used were Cinema 4d, Adobe Photoshop and After effects.

Sleeping flat on the floorbed of a slightly merky river is a hefty alligator. Small oval shadows pass
over his head. His left eye pops open as the shadows draw his attention. His pupil follow for a
fraction of a second before the second pops open.
CUT TO
View from below looking up, a group of silhoettes sail above. The sunlight glaring through the
spaces between making them appear magical.
CUT TO
Alligator's eyes grow larger, the lids pulling far back, his mouth opening revealing a smile. The
gator pushes off the river floor and propels himself vertically toward the surface. His tail whipping
from side to side and legs tucked back as he makes his ascent.
CUT TO
From the Alligator's point of view he draws closer, snout visible just below the scenery of the
delicious school of food above. DRAMATIC MUSIC RAMPS UP
CUT TO
Looking down from above, the alligator swims toward camera approaching the surface.
Continuously cut back and forth with the frame of the shot closer and closer to each subject.
CUT TO
Surface of water, peaceful and calm, (NO MUSIC) plastic bottles and plastic wrappers are floating.
Suddenly the Alligator lunges out of the water, (DRAMATIC MUSICAL PULSE) splashing
everywhere, mouth wide open, the gator suddenly snaps down then falls and dives below the
surface.
The water is disturbed and waves buoy back and forth till it slightly settles. The gator re-emerges
panicking splashing and looking left to right trying to reach it's throat with it's tiny arms. Suddenly
he pauses, eyes wide open, then it flops on it's back floating dead and drifts down the river with the
rest of the garbage.
