Nathan Woods contacted me for a freelance job and was looking for a logo for his newly formed accounting firm. I started researching ideas and was instantly drawn to the abacus. It is one of the oldest forms used for counting in the archeological record. After looking at several different examples I landed on a flat iconic representation with accompanying text: Woods CPA. The final product was colored with a dark navy blue and bright orange accent color, per the clients request.
