Staunton glass pendants

The Progress Lighting Staunton collection is a glass pendant group that was inspired by the shapes of Chess pieces (mainly pawns if you want to be specific). The name for the group comes from Howard Staunton, who in the mid 1800’s designed the classic chess set that bears his name.
These pendants come in three different shapes and in three finish combinations, offering the ability to mix and match for a user customized look.
Initial concept sketches
Renderings created with Rhino 3D and Bunkspeed Shot.
From the initial sketches, the forms were refined in CAD
Final products shown in all three finishes
