I was developing an Interactive Presentation for CompassLearning. The script called for a Virtual Tour Guide for the presentation. Below shows the process and iterations we went though to develop the final character. This design was then 2D animated in the presentation.

Process: Initial Character concepts based on the Virtual Tour Guide needing to be a Librarian. I was sampling different age groups and stereotypes associated with Librarians.

Process: Client choose a combination of #1 and #2 (from above). The feedback was a little older, yet keeping a contemporary feel.

Process: This stages shows changes from the second round of feedback. My sketch is on the left and the final vector illustration is on the right. When creating the vector illustration, I rigged it for 2D animation in Flash.
