The Waterscapes series of patchwork landscapes was inspired by the St. Lawrence River, the Maine seacoast, and the many lakes and ponds tucked into the New England countryside. The ephemeral nature of water cannot be captured in shapes alone; the stitching in these pieces offers a sense of movement, depth, and shifting color.
