COMMUTE
_

The brief was to design a specialized shoe for an urban commuter. The context chosen was winter cycling.

Winter biking has gained in popularity over the past years and more cyclists are braving the cold temperatures. Weather conditions are harsh and can be dangerous for cyclists during their daily commute.

COMMUTE is a stylist boot that can be adapted to different temperatures throughout the day. Rain in the morning? The boot can be pulled up to the knee. Travelling by bike to a lunch meeting? Once arrived at destination, the boot can be rolled down around the ankle for a relaxed and confortable look.

The upper section of the boot is made of a breathable and waterproof material, protecting the leg from road dirt.
The same section can be rolled down around the ankle.
