ninitoe(니니토)는 스페인어로 꼬마, 아기야 라는 뜻을 가진 ninito와 발가락을 의미히는 toe를 합친 이름으로, 유아를 위한 천연 가죽 핸드메이드 슈즈 브랜드입니다. 평소 수제 가죽 구두로 다양한 강연과 책을 썼던 클라이언트는, '아이의 첫 신발을 엄마가 직접 만들 수 있게 하면 어떨까?' 하는 작은 아이디어에서 니니토를 창업하였습니다. 그렇게 탄생한 니니토의 대표 상품인 '니니토 DIY 슈즈키트'는 인증을 받은 천연 가죽을 핸드 스티치 방식으로 한땀한땀 꿰매고 독창적인 제단 단계로 구성되어 있어 누구나 쉽고 재미있게 따라할 수 있습니다.
가지공장은 니니토의 이러한 컨셉에 맞추어 작은 가죽 스와치에서 영감 받은 BI와 모티브를 개발하였고, 이를 다양한 어플리케이션에서 활용하였습니다. 컬러 역시 태닝된 천연 가죽 느낌의 베이지톤을 메인으로 하여 다양한 브라운톤을 믹스하였고, 따뜻한 동화 같은 일러스트들을 더해 아이를 위한 공방 브랜드임을 강조하였습니다.
Ninitoe, which is a combined word of ninito, which means kid or baby in Spanish, and toe, is a natural leather hand-made shoes brand for infants. The client, who gave many lectures and wrote books about hand-made leather shoes, established Ninitoe with a small idea “What if moms can make the first shoes of their own babies?” Ninitoe’s representing product ‘Ninitoe DIY Shoes Kit’ is composed of unique tailoring steps with elaborately hand-stitched certified natural leather, so anyone can follow the direction easily.
We Eggplant Factory developed BI and the motif inspired by small leather Swatch according to the concept, and used these in many applications. We used tanned natural leather like beige color for main color and mixed with various brown tones. We also added warm fairy tale illustrations to highlight the feature of a handcraft brand for children.
