This is the catalogue of the Desplazamientos exhibition by Andrea Robbins and Max Becher, held at the Museo ICO, Madrid, in the context of PHotoEspaña 2016. The work of Robbins & Becher examines the effects of culture and people displacements, and explores random stereotypes and clichés. The “Black Cowboys” photo series analyses one of the oldest African-American traditions, little known outside the United States due to the banning of black cowboys from the iconography of Western films.
