The 2 Weeks Free campaign began in mid-2011, and because of great success, was repeated in March 2012. The campaign originated so that Cox Media Group could capitalize on the great reader feedback they were getting on a June 2011 newspaper redesign. This campaign communicated its message using over 45 tactical elements, including print, web, outdoor, television and radio.
