After a chance encounter with the owner of Steve's Authentic Key Lime Pies, in Red Hook, Brooklyn, I was commissioned by him to create this painting of the Statue of Liberty enjoying one of his Swingles - a key lime pie dipped in dark chocolate, served chilled on a popsicle stick.
