Paris; the Notre Dame Project

These are a series of photos, taken near and in front of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. They were shot over a period of two to three days. I always have loved taking photos of people in the street, and the photos of people (mostly tourists, but not all) looking, walking, ignoring, or standing in awe of this great church and architectural achievement in human history, is fascinating to me. I also love the groupings and geometrical lines of these figures within the frame of each photo, that just standing with my camera, and waiting for the exact moment to capture them, almost looks as though I had directed and placed them all in a scene from a movie.
