Bifora is luxury apartment within the walls of 500-year-old Gothic Palace in the historic centre of Hvar, on
Croatia’s Dalmatian coast. The brief was to create an engaging brand identity that would capture the spirit
of a place, and reveal its qualities to visitors interested in renting a property of this unique character.
The concept draws upon the bi-partite ‘Bifora’ mullioned windows, which are so integral to the architectural
language of the place. The consultation dialogue delivered a unified suite of branded elements, including
naming the development, production of letterhead, business card and logo design. An engaging feature of
the response to the client's needs was to produce a special visitors book, which encourages young and old
to share their experience through words and pictures.
This process of engagement, through the words and impressions of the visitors, sparked further ideas around

architectural visualisation, bringing people into the room, remotely via the web portal. Thus opening a unique
window and selling point to the world.
