These shots are from a recent trip to French Polynesia. The last night of the trip, we went to a traditional Tahitian dinner on the island Taha'a. Our incredibly friendly hosts displayed Polynesian towel-folding techniques and dancing. Some of the performers were world champions at this form of dance, which involved lots of pelvic movement. I'll put it this way: my father said of the dancing, "I didn't know twerking was invented in Tahiti!"
