A summary of the idea

Branding Cafe Grenadine was a very organic and flowing process. Within the brand we build visual representations of warm hospitality, delicious real food and a relaxed and inspiring ambiance.

Cafe Grenadine is many things – we are a cafe, a store, a shop. We are a place to relax, a place to enjoy nourishing and lovingly made real food, a place to feel welcome and at home.

Creating Cafe Grenadine, we draw on a life of adventure, travel and experience. We are inspired by North African hospitality, the European experience of food and the quality of seasonal Australian produce. 

Visually we are inspired by the traditional corner store concept, the natural beauty of the pomegranate, and the creative European cafe culture.

So, our branding is a creative interpretation of the traditional corner store concept layered with old world hospitality – our home is your home.

The logo
Using a traditional geometric font, we start creating a brand that is old-world, creative and inspired by European cafe culture. It is a brand that can exist as a traditional corner store, while also visually promising a much more layered experience offered within. We are creating something special and bringing a unique dining/shopping/hospitable experience with it. The logo and resulting branding reflects this.
