Collection of samples based on the rocks and minerals collection at the Natural History Museum. Taking the idea of how the rocks have been formed over time and researching into how materials react when exposed to the natural elements when underground i created a collection of distressed like fabrics for the fashion market. After burying some samples for 80 days i used them as visual research to inspire my collection. Interpreting the effects through the use of the embellishing, burning, laser cutting and printing i created a collection of sophisticated fabrics samples some of which have the appearance of wearable art.
