The book I chose to create a design narrative for is ‘Man From The South’ a short story by storywrite RoaldDahl (1916 - 1990) The Books genre is horror, with darkhumor running though-out. His short stories are known for their unexpected endings and this certainly is no different.I chose photography as the medium with which I would convey the design narrative, I used a duotone format inpost processing to help with the horror genre of the book, I also used a grainy style texture in some of the imagery to assist with the over feel of the story The typeface chosen is ‘Street Corner’, it is a sans seriftypeface, I chose this as its differnet from the conventionalserif type which is normally used, as it compliments the imagery.
