Evening wear collection
Evening wear range based on the rocks and minerals collection at the Natural History Museum. Inspired by their shapes and colour i created a collection of mixed media fabric samples for the women's wear market. Using a range of beads, sequins and stitches i have tried to create different surfaces through layered and manipulation. Experimenting with creating my own sequins and manipulating others i have produced samples with interesting surfaces that have a 3D element to them. The possibility of movement has also been been created through the use of larger beads and sequins.
