Outside of Atlanta is a small planned community called Serenbe where there are smaller specialized neighborhoods such as this “Art Farm.” This artist living and working community includes homes, studio spaces, exhibition spaces, and meeting areas amoung other community functions. The neighborhood is located on a very sloping wooded site which was the driving factor behind the terraced courtyard design. The main design goal was to internalize all the functions of this small community in a central courtyard.
