These are snap shots of a plant nursery located on the outskirts of the City Center of Fes, Morocco. Not only are the plants colorful, but some of their structures are truly something to marvel at. With present day ecological crisis looming, it is imperative that we realize- sooner than later- that plant life are the key to keeping a balanced and healthy eco-system. Deforestation among other things is a key contributor to the continuously degrading environment. You don't have to be a tree hugger to know that plants inhale CO2 which, without getting all morbid, is fatal to us humans(and other life form) if it exists in high concentrations.
I'll admit that while taking these pictures, nothing related to the eco-system was going through my head, but as I sat down to take a closer look at them, that's when it dawned on me. Not only are they beautiful, but they play a pivotal role in our very existence.

I'd previously only ever known one type of cactus, and that's the one in Roadrunner with Wildy Coyote... If you watch cartoons or did at one point in time then you'd probably know what I'm talking about... Who knew cacti could be this beautiful...lol
Okay, I'm gonna be completely honest, I did not, in any shape, form or size alter the look of this plant... If you're wondering how the stems are the way they are, then your guess is as good as mine... But if you believe in a Higher Power, then that's the best answer I can give you...
This is definitely not plant related, lol... It is a fountain over at a cafe that was a stone's throw away from the nursery. I thought it was kinda creepy and cute - if that's even remotely possible- lol....
