Flair Tutorials
A University project to create a tutorial supplement for a Digital Arts style magazine. The supplement would give a step-by-step guide to creating artwork in software like Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
For time and efficiency purposes, I would like to thank www.digitalartsonline.co.uk/tutorials for much of the content used in this academic project.
This magazine features a bookmark/contents tab feature, which I designed to give an interesting, alternative format for a publication. The bookmark makes up part of the front cover/identity and can be folded over while reading the magazine to bookmark a page. On the reverse side, the contents tab is conveniently located to ensure important page information is easily accessible.
As well as the cover artwork (which was created by using one of the tutorials), I designed the magazine to appeal to a creative demographic and made page-filling quotes to further inspire the readership.
