Latin Beet Kitchen is a New York chef-owned fast casual eatery located in the heart of the Flatiron district. Their concept pairs Latin soul food with healthy recipes prepared so that every plate is delicious and filled with nutrition. The intent is to provide food made from the best sources that customers can feel good about eating.

We worked with Latin Beet Kitchen to develop their entire branding and identity platform, from re-envisioning their name based on the vegetable beet concept, to designing a logo (also based on an existing concept), to working on interior art elements, copy writing, menu and menu boards and a range of other designed pieces. The goal of the brand is to communicate a bold, energetic, fun vibe playing off the life beat (our hearts and circulatory process), the Latin beat (the music) and the vegetable – beet. The logo is inspired by plated sauces. The restaurant is catered to an intellectual customer base who puts thought into the food they eat. The brand voice is partially based in Spanglish to create clever messaging, bringing in educational moments throughout the restaurant experience.
