TAKE ME BY HAND_A Travelling Interactive Exhibition

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project is placed in the Brunelleschi Hospital, an ancient building made by the famous Renaissance Architect Filippo Brunelleschi. Centrality of childhood is fundamental in the interest of this Institution from the establishment to our days: even now the building is a shelter for people in need (especially unmarried mothers), it host UNICEF seat and family planning clinics.
The attention about childhood is the main feeling that guide the concept of project: child become the reading keys of contents and in the same time as favourite visitor of the mounting.
But what's the best communication channel to captivate child's attention?
To find a solution about this problem I take inspiration from the Studio Azzurro to project a exhibition itinerary with high interactive components, utilizing new technology like touch screen, video and interactive projections, to substitute the idea of a static museum to a dynamic lab that are able to speak a contemporary language.
A travelling exhibition must be think under a logic of simplicity in the matter of assembly/disassembly phases, guaranteeing rapidity during the installation of spaces. So the project  is composed by three separate elements that for this reason can be put in different places, free to create various relationship between them, similar in the shell but different inside in according to each theme.
