My idea is to evoke the childhood memories in parents to bring their children on a picnic, building fond memories for their children. In order to hinge on their previous experiences to eat outdoors, the song Feed The Birds by Mary Poppins is incorporated into the picnic pack to remind people that life could be so much simpler if we slow down our pace and take time to appreciate the little things in life. "Feed The Birds" translating to mean nurture your children.

Feed The Birds hand lettering is inspired by the typography style from the 1960s as the song is composed by Sherman Brothers in 1964. I am also inspired by the simple yet effective and memorable graphics of Saul Bass.

The overall carrier is inspired from vintage children lunch boxes. Packagings are designed to fit perfectly, without the need of dividers and extra space, fulfilling the M&S strong eco policy.
