Vienna are a Belfast band with other carnations. They also have a side act as a Take That tribute band, with Robbie Barrie as their front man. However, they are not the typical tribute band. This role came purely by accident, as Robbie has more than just the name in common with some dude called Robbie Williams. The Barrie version normally has his heart set on heavy metal. His fiance, Debbie Shaw is the main lead singer for Vienna. Debbie and I go a long way back, since my days at radio and involvement in music. They have won a number of awards and are more than capable of writing their own material, as demonstrated on the previous video in their older carnation. However, due to demand and the nature of their venues, mostly at special events, they have to perform cover songs and are just waiting for that one big break by "qualified" people who can recognise real non-manufactured talent.
