The Stepping Down

The streets of Egypt were bombarded by excitement post Omar Soliman's announcement of the stepping down of Mubarak. Sentiments of hope, denial, disbelief, rapture, and confusion took over the best of us, but disregarding one's stand, it was clear that things will never be the same again. The streets were full of celebrations and curious cameras until dawn!
The Anniversary

A year post the revolution and the streets are full once more... Different agendas, different demands, and different celebrations. The common theme however, is being in the street. Conflicts in agenda varied from "celebrating the revolution" and asking for vengeance for the martyrs who fell for or because of it. With some minorities simply joining in the festive or revolutionary spirit that's making history disregarding one's stand.
