"On the day of her lord's promised return, she scaled the highest bluff in the valley even before the sun had risen.  Just as dawn was breaking, she saw the brilliant flash and a streak of flame cut across the sky.  Her faith rewarded, she tracked the object's flight across the hills and plains.  As she grew nearer, the blood ruby on her necklace pulsed with increasing strength and frequency.  Finally, she found what she was searching for in a small blackened crater near several sizzling bushes - the femur bone of her God.

The bones continued to blaze through the sky like an eternal shower of meteors.  Diligently she ran from crater to crater, collecting the fallen bones in her wicker basket enchanted with a powerful incantation of protection.  As the day passed, the basket became heavy with remains.  An ominous glow began to emanate from within that grew with each of her additions.  

With barely an hour left of daylight, she had successfully collected all the bones except for the skull.  Despite its absence, she could feel her lord returning to her.  His voice could be heard - at first a whisper in the blowing grasp but soon it echoed in her ears.  The smell of fire and soot filled her nose and she become filled with Him, almost possessed by his approaching presence.  Desperately and impatiently, she awaited the final piece to return from the Heavens.” -M.D.Walter
