Started with a flat design done in photoshop. Hand cut the printout to create a stencil for the chalk.
Cut a frame out of foamcore so that I could access the back of the flat layout
Taped flat design over frame
Then word by word I dusted chalk over the stencils. Filmed each word individually then blended each word in After Affects.
