Store concept for swedish fashion brand POUR.
BDC designed the store for swedish fashion brand POUR when they opened their first own store in the prestigeous, brand new city mall MOOD in Stockholm 2012. Karl Råman at BDC did the main store design and I helped in details and execusion. The store is made with walls covered in a subtle collage of different light grey materials such as linoleum (normally a flooring material), cembrit (raw wall panels) and mirrors. Main floorstanding furnitures in deep green stained birch-plywood.
All fixtures and fittings are custom made such as wall metal wall-hanging system (able to write product information directly on metal panels) with our own design of hangers (also from stained birch plywood, this time in grey), lighting fixtures in fitting room and curtain door (one huge, handpainted piece of cloth) that can be opened as a door.
Cashiers desk is a huge glass vitrine and small tables and display hangers are all made from stained plywood in two simple parts, easy to put up and to remove/store when not needed. A clean and simple store with an edge.
