This was a promotional project for photographer Jim Fiscus. In addition to being the wardrobe stylist, I was also the squid stylist and rat wrangler.
Pssst... yeah you! Do you like secrets? The squid originally sat flat on the plate and looked more like a brown blob than a squid. There is a paper cup underneath the squid to give him shape and to make his eyes more distinguishable. Each tentacle was strategically placed then brushed with glycerine to enhance the slimy texture.
