Recycling Center
InMalaysia, every year the waste produced is estimated to be 7.3 million tonnesand if this amount of waste is stacked up together, it will be enough to create 42Malaysia Petronas Twin Towers.
Currently, Malaysia does not have anyproper recycle center and project Zer0’s objective is to build up such recycle center. ProjectZer0 will not only recycle the waste but will also be used as a venue toraise awareness and educate thepublic, especially theyounger generation.
Project Zer0 is divided into two majorparts, the visitor center and the actual recycling facilities includingrecycling trucks. The visitor center will be located above the recycle factory.The purpose is to introduce the recycling processes visible from the factoryand inform visitors on what can be reproduced from waste. The centerwill also organise various activities ranging from seminars, professional talkand lesson on how to reuse the waste to family / group activities such as modelmaking, poster competitions. These activities will be able to help educate thepublic on protecting our environment.
Unlike in the UK where the collectionof recyclable waste is common scene, such service is yet to be established inMalaysia. The recycling trucks will then be exploited to garner publicattention. It will go to housing estates to collect recyclable waste instead ofpassively waiting for the public to send the waste to recycle center. The trucks willalso act as a mobile information dissemination vehicle to educate the public through billboards,booklets distribution and examples sharing.
The center will also implement a point system where public who bring therecyclable waste to the center will get points and these points can be used to redeem items madefrom the recycled material.
Project Zer0 aims forcontinuous and sustainable expansion for which Malaysia is just the starting point. Project Zer0 aim tobring better environment for our next generation.

The concept were inspire from the way that recycle factory store the collected waste. Compress,crash and twisting, reopen out them. Bring the uneven form and shape into the design.

The color of the center are quite a lot,but the when visitor standing at different place the color they able to see will be different,the color they saw will be different while they going out.This is because of the floor level created an illusion.
