The 3DKOMM-Newspaper is a medial interface between architecture and design at the University of Applied Science Düsseldorf. It encourage the reader to think and work in an interdisciplinary context. The first issue is based on the term “occupy” and ask why the concept of “occupation” has such a big impact on our thinking and doing.
In order to interpret the theme typographically a layout was chosen, without any empty-space. The whole journal is occupied by text and images. To take refer to the media of other Occupiers six typographical covers were designed, which work as posters or banner.
