Multimedia & Graphic Design
A Graphic and Multimedia design company I established in 1997 until 2002. The following screenshots are from interactive digital presentations for several clients delivered on CD-Rom format at 640 x 480 screen resolution, the 'safe' format and compatible with most computers at the time. This was before Flash existed, and 'Macromedia Director' was the tool of choice for interactive content developers.

The quirky cartoon-like character was the company logo, mascot and was incorporated fully as the creative metaphor shown in the first example. It emphasises on fun and outside-the-box creativity, and was hand-drawn, scanned and digitally reproduced in vector format for wide usage including animation.
Self-promotional, interactive digital brochure, developed in 'Macromedia Director' using 'Lingo' scripting and delivered on CD-Rom.
Nuevo was the 2nd iteration of a unique IP creation. An interactive digital entertainment magazine, the first of it's kind in South Africa between 1998 - 2001. A working prototype was developed to aid a seed-investment drive. The app was to be delivered on CD-Rom, marketed as a stand-alone shelf product. Commercial internet use was still very limited at the time, and only links to external websites was included, as-apposed-to streaming content within the app.
Nuevo evolved out of the first concept named 'Gooru' that was a lot more playful with surreal fantasy theme inviting users to discover the content. This was my favorite!
The 3rd and final iteration of the digital magazine IP, now evolved into 'Digizone'. To be distributed freely as a magazine inclusion on CD-Rom, funded wholly by advertising with the focus on shopping. An fortunate fail!
