Mother Earth (ME) Magazine is a cultural exploration of the global woman, telling what she eats, wears, where she works, the politics of her world, and what her life is like, day-to-day. The look of the magazine is natural and authentic. The photography leans towards a photo-journalistic style, and the photos are beautiful, but honest. This style is complimented by the use of a pattern palette that was hand-picked at a fabric store by the magazine designers. The patterns (used throughout the magazine) represent the the life patterns of women across the globe.
Note: This was a five-person group project. The cover design and spreads displayed were designed by Casey Walsh (with exception for the magazine logo, designed by Sarah Rew).
