Human/less - İnsan/sız
Within the scope of Project Human/less, I have intended to present ‘the system and mankind’s dishumanisation to which the system conduces’ as the product of an“inextricable” “natural” process, and in this context, I have handled the cityas main problematic…
The city -in general meaning- which is to be the centre of power relations is exactly the condensation of “circulation”. We could, looking through the “circulation”, see both the sole power of rulership and the reasons of it. The tragic situation I am intended to reveal is the “legitimacy” of such“system”. Despite all the negativeness, people demand and establish the fields which the circulation focuses on. This, what we could consider as consciousness of alienation and objectivization, is the surrender of humankind. The legitimacy of the system (or the authority) which is the most dangerous type of rulership is the “fascism inside us” via which the power of rulership is spreaded into every part of our daily lives.
In this project the path of “system” has been considered by using top-to-bottom point of view and via the terms alienation, system-individual, human/nature, human/machine, supervision, congestion, and density of physical contact/loneliness.

İnsan/sız projesinde düzeni, düzenin getirdiği insansızlaşmayı “içinden çıkılmaz” “doğal” bir sürecin ürünü olarak ortaya koymaya çalıştım, bu bağlamda kenti bir sorunsal olarak ele aldım…
İktidar ilişkilerinin odağı olan kent, aslında “dolaşım”ın yoğunlaşmasıdır. Biz “dolaşım”da hem iktidarın kendisini hem de nedenlerini görebiliriz. Benim göstermeye çalıştığım trajik durum ise, “düzen”in “meşruluğu”dur. Dolaşımın yoğunlaştığı alanları tüm olumsuzluklarına karşın, insanlar ister ve insanlar yapar. Bu, yabancılaşmanın, nesneleşmenin bilince çıkmış hali, insanın teslimiyetidir. Düzenin meşruluğu (ya da otorite) en tehlikeli iktidar biçimi,iktidarı güncel yaşamın her alanına yayan “içimizdeki faşizm”dir.
Bu projede “düzen” izleği, yukarıdan bakış açısı kullanılarak yabancılaşma, düzen/insan, insan/doğa, insan/makine, denetim, sıkışıklık, fiziksel temas yoğunluğu/yalnızlık bağlamlarıyla ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır.
