Storia di una [R]esistenza / Isabella Marincola's life story
Italosomala / Storia di una [R]esistenza is an editorial project about Isabella Marincola
and her life, from 1925 (year of her birth) to 2010 (year of her death), especially from the italian invasion of Somalia to the First and Second Word Wars, until the women's rights demonstrations of the seventies. Isabella was Giorgio Marincola's sister, an italian Resistence fighting (he was murdered at the end
of the First Word War) . They were children of an italian soldier and a somali woman: after the italian invasion of Somalia, they were divided for a long time. The book presents Marincola's story
on the smallest pages (A5 format), while comparable history informations on the biggest
pages (A3 plus format), severally in Garamound and Courier New type.

Thanks to the writer Wu Ming 2 who tell us the story
Thanks to Isabella's son, Antar, who gives us this opportunity
and finally thanks to my workmates D. Bilibio and M. Lo Franco.
