The concept / parti of my design was to create mystery within the space. Each student was given a different type of maker (mask, weaver, kite) and I was given a mask maker. I specifically researched on Carnivale De Venice. The masks worn at this celebration create a mystery to the audience. To accomplish this I created a maze throughout the gallery, which creates confusion and mystery. The main hallway that takes you into the living spaces have windows that are viewing into the gallery. Although you can not see the whole gallery from the windows you can see some. The boxes on the ceiling goes into multiple rooms within the gallery and living space to create mystery.
