FieldTrip
I recently spoke at FieldTrip, a day event with a difference. The focus of FieldTrip was to look behind the scenes and see how people work and their processes. It had a wide variety of speakers from storyboard artists, photographers, 3D animators……
I decided from when first being approached to speak at FT to be very transparent to how I work. Most of my presentation looked at how I work in illustrator and all my little tricks.
To best display my process I went through the creation of an owl character and the reference and mood boards that also went into it.
I must admit I was nervous but it all went well and I need to thank everyone who emailed afterwards….I’m glad you enjoyed it.
