The brief for this assignment was to create and develop a visual identity for a magazine, beginning with a name and a masthead, as well as to design the cover and a two spreads based on the provided articles; Ellen Lupton’s “White Space” and Kenya Hara’s “Designing Design”. I decided to take a playful and subtle approach to my spreads and cover, using minimal colours and bringing a sense of the dynamic to the white space. Using collage, I played with Kenya Hara's musings on the increasingly complex relationship between humans and technology.
