The Dark Side of the Moon & Me

Speak To Me is the first song on the Dark Side of the Moon, and is sort of a preview to the whole album, relating that to my life would be previewing my life, in which I chose to create the stages of life, as this is things that have happened and things that will be in my life, I created the stages of life out of matches to give a more conceptual/PinkFloyd feel to the cover.
On the Run is all about travel, in which I've chosen to create a pastiche of the London Underground Tube map, and related it to my life, each line represents a place I have lived, and each stop on that line relates to a place I visited whilst living on the before mentioned line.
Time is a song focused around the preciousness of time and how we don't know it until its too late, I noted down all the ways I abused my time, waiting for things/procrastinated and assigned them a price, so that if time was money I could see how much I was throwing away per day, the cover shows one of my receipts.
The Great Gig in the Sky, is all to do with death and grief so I wanted to create a cover about something that has died recently in my life, my free time, with finishing my dissertation and completing my 3 years at University, towards the end I realised that my free time was slowly dying.
Money, by Pink Floyd a very literal song all about money and how it rules society so I researched and found how much i'd cost society being raised to the age of 21.
Us & Them, is a song with the theme of war, now seeing as I haven't experienced any war in my life I chose to create it about things that annoy me, the top one being people sitting on chairs the wrong way round.
The next cover is for : Any Colour You Like, A song which has the theme that people think they have a choice when really the choice has already been made for them. For the cover I chose to create a math trick where no matter what you number you choose the answer will always be nine.
I then produced a triangle box to house all of the 7" Vinyl covers, triangle to associate with the prism on the front of the dark side of the moon cover.
