A series of paper sculpture illustrations for the John Lewis Partnership "It's Your Year" Annual Report.

 

The front and back covers show a path that starts at the year the John Lewis Partnership was founded, past the current year and on past 1928, the year they are strategically planning to. Ultimately the path leads to the Aspirational Future City on the horizon.

 

The theme of travelling a connecting pathway is explored further on the double page spread imagery that depicts various aspect of the John Lewis business. Photographs of real people working with John Lewis were added later.

 

Meanwhile, the subject divider pages pick up on the signage theme and reflects the headline text. 

 

Following the positive response to the annual report imagery, there was then an additional commission to create the cover image for John Lewis Partnership's "Human Rights Report". In order to be cost effective, some elements were repurposed from the previous imagery.
