What started with a trip to a local recycle/re-purposing store (Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Beaverton), became several weeks of near feverish carving, sanding and at least a few splinters. The entire body is hand made of mahogany flooring, with an unidentified hardwood flooring for the bridge and fingerboard. Piezo style pickups are being designed and built to fit under the bridge (2 there) and a third on the top, under the finger board.

Carve...sand....carve some more....sand a lot more. Thankfully mahogany smells great!
