Minetta is a proactive and sustainable design inspired and influenced by a sense of nostalgia and the rich history of Italian automotive design, in celebration of the once dictating industry of an economic boom. The concept we’re trying to convey is transportation will stimulate one to act responsibly towards the environment. In this case the design becomes proactive by defining a new function, being a part in the cycle of environmental resources that has been consumed, therefore made to be generated on a smaller scale that’s nutritional and acts to improve the fertility of soil. Minetta represents a gesture of regenerative happiness, to be buried or forgotten in a field of plants in a garden, imperfect and compact just like a new fruit that belongs on earth. Made of Biochar, soybean wax and nikawa glue, this is a fully biodegradable, healthy and nourishing piece for the environment.
