Hole in the Head:
When presented with an assignment that simply stated to keep a record of something for 5 weeks, I found my mind wandering into daydreams. The result of this free-writing exercise is a collection of random thoughts that would never be spoken out loud, "Hole in the Head." The book features a restrained red, white and black color palette that doesn't overwhelm the black and white photography, whimsical illustration and delicate typography. The binding is a continuous accordion which allows for the book to be viewed one or more spreads at a time. This format is appropriate to ideas spilling forth constantly.
