LEE ALEXANDER MCQUEEN TRIBUTE EXHIBITION

Project Delivery of exhibition/event: Design the look and feel of exhibition, the tickets and promotional materials, interactive exhibits and launch event.
Project objectives: Exhibition will be based on McQueen’s abundant creative work after one year from his suicide. The event theme is light, water, technology and `spooky interactive holograms` of his designs. His works were appreciated by many artists and strongly connected with art and music industry. McQueen’s fashion shows were usually provocative and readily distinguishable from all others. The main purpose of this exhibition is to allow visitors to interact with the artist designs. On Fashion shows we can only experience tone and visuals of the event and we don’t interact with it physically. To engage people with the designs we can create immersive virtual reality exhibition. This will be a journey through the McQueen‘s past creative work which will end up on the focal exhibition object (the large interactive cube representing underwater world as a metaphor of the ‘after life’). The exhibition will be housed at the NMS and may target anyone who loves fashion, technology and new experiences (+ 18yrs).
