These wedding bands were made on commision. They are made of 14K white gold (the dark grey areas) and Sterling silver (the light grey areas). The technique applied is "Married Metals" where different alloys are soldered together in order to "draw" a pattern with the color variation. In this case the letters "S" and "M" - the initials of the couple - are the origin of the lines drawn for a graphic and personal look. The pattern is made in one piece and then divided into two seperate pieces so the lines match from one band to the other. With this technique I can make countless personal designs in a number of precious metal alloys.
