This was a project that required me to design any information that either "informed" or taught my viewer how to do something. I chose to inform my viewers on the history of the progressive speeds of aviation through the years since the first airplane was created by the Wright brothers. I selected the fastest speeds of each decade from the 1900's all the way up to 2004. Some speeds were officially recognized and some were not. The inspiration to do this project on aviation came from the first time I saw the movie "The Aviator". The information is presented in a progressive manner related to the increasing speed of the airplane's, shown on the airplanes odometer.
