Business Card Mock-up for Art 230 Typography class
For my Art 230 Typography Class, I was challenged to design a hypothetical business card representing myself as a freelance graphic designer using only typography as the design element. The type was to be both informative and decorative while showcasing the personality of the typeface. For a bold, linear design, I chose Trade Gothic Next LT Pro in various weights to give the card variety and contrast.  Using an asymmetrical layout as well as vertical and horizontal letter groupings, the design allowed for negative space to promote visual hierarchy and movement.

The instructions were to design a card with four different color variations of three colors each. Additionally, each card had to include a name, freelance title, physical address, two phone numbers, an email address and a website.
