I thought it would be fun to recreate an important moment in Batman history. When Bane "breaks" the Bat, but using updated character designs from The Dark Knight Rises movie. The original comic panel used as a reference is shown below (art by Jim Aparo), as well as my preliminary thumbnail. The work was hand drawn and inked on A3 paper, then composed and block coloured on computer.
