Chip Kidd is a graphic designer well known for his book covers. As a designer as Penguin Random House Publishers, he has had his designs on the covers of many classics as well as new novels. His covers convey the tone of the book while also being extremely thought provoking. It’s hard to characterized his style because it changes from book to book, but his concepts are all unique in their ability to play with the plot of the story despite being the cover of said novel. After reading his published title,The Cheese Monkeys, I decided to redesign the cover of his coming of age design novel and also rework the cover into a movie poster.
